Stunning Paver Patio with Pergola
Vision This family was ready to elevate their outdoor space into something truly special. With older children in the picture, the goal was to design a backyard that still brought everyone together for family gatherings, but with a more refined and sophisticated feel. They envisioned a space that was as beautiful as it was functional — and that’s exactly what we delivered.
Location: Rockville, VA
Design Features and Materials:
We designed a stunning two-tier patio using Cambridge Pavers, giving the space a polished and timeless look. A custom seating wall was incorporated to naturally divide the two levels, with the upper tier serving as a comfortable lounging area and the lower tier dedicated to outdoor dining. The separation of spaces creates a wonderful flow, making it easy to host gatherings while keeping each area feeling intentional and distinct.
Above the dining area, we installed a custom Pencroft Pergola, carefully sized and designed to perfectly complement the aesthetic of the space. The pergola was finished with a full lighting package, creating a warm and inviting ambiance that makes the space just as enjoyable after the sun goes down as it is during the day.
Unique Aspects of Planning and Construction:
This project required custom engineering to ensure the two-tier design was structurally sound and built to last. Careful planning went into the layout and leveling of each tier, as well as the precise fitting of the Pencroft Pergola to ensure it felt like a natural and seamless extension of the space rather than an afterthought.
